Emilie Kiser’s friend Avery Woods has resurfaced on social media with a heartfelt tribute to her late son, Trigg, after his heartbreaking death.

Woods, 30, returned to TikTok on Monday, June 2, two weeks after 3-year-old Trigg died of an accidental drowning. The influencer shared a video of herself applying makeup and showing off a breezy beige pants look, which she accessorized with black heels, a black handbag, and movingly, a silver pendant necklace engraved with Trigg’s name.

“Been a while since I put on makeup so I thought I’d get ready for our anniversary,” she wrote, adding a white heart emoji and the message, “Missed you.”

Emilie, a fellow influencer with millions of TikTok followers, welcomed Trigg in July 2021 with husband Brady Kiser. The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, added son Teddy to their family in March.

Earlier Monday, Us Weekly confirmed that the investigation into Trigg’s death is officially closed. Emilie had filed a lawsuit in Arizona to block the release of records about the tragic loss.

“Emilie is going through a parent’s worst nightmare right now. She lost her young son, her 3-year-old Trigg Chapman Kiser (‘Trigg’), on May 18, 2025, following a heartbreaking accidental drowning at the family’s home on May 12, 2025,” the lawsuit filed on Tuesday, May 27, and published by Arizona Republic, read. “Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. But every day is a battle.”

According to the filing last month, Emilie had urged “this Court to prevent the profound invasion of privacy that would result from the public disclosure of these sensitive materials. She prays that the Court enter an order permanently enjoining Defendants from granting public access to any investigative or post-mortem records related to the tragic death of her son, Trigg.”

The Chandler Police Department in Arizona confirmed to Us on May 18 that Trigg had died. Days earlier, he was pulled unconscious from the family’s backyard pool and rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He was later flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
