Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign striker Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg.
The 22-year-old will move to Stamford Bridge next year and reportedly sign a seven-year contract.
Emegha, scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances in Ligue 1 last season and is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the French top flight.
He was handed the captaincy at Strasbourg at the start of this season following Habib Diarra’s move to Sunderland.
Emegha is an Under-21 international for the Netherlands having been born in The Hague. He started out at Sparta Rotterdam before joining Antwerp in 2022. He made just one appearance for the Belgian club before moving to Sturm Graz and then on to Strasbourg for a reported €13 fee.
