Things were heating up at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party as Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams made his red carpet debut with his longtime girlfriend, Katelyn Larson.

The 25-year-old actor turned heads on Sunday, March 15, sporting a sheer, sleeveless black top, showing off his torso, and black pants for the annual Oscars event held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Williams’ top featured a dramatic scarf that trailed behind him.

Larson, meanwhile, complemented her man in a midriff-baring black lace number as she and Williams locked arms as they posed for photos.

Also on the red carpet was Williams’ Heated Rivalry costar, Connor Storrie, who similarly opted for a torso-bearing sheer top for the occasion. The pair sizzled on the red carpet as they reunited for pictures.

As the curtain closed on the 2026 Oscars, celebrities turned their sights on the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, led by Best Leading Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow were among the first of many A-list couples who hit the red carpet at the Los Angeles County […]

Williams has been private about his love life since Heated Rivalry premiered in November 2025 and immediately made stars of its lead actors. However, in February, Williams shared several pictures of Larson via his Instagram Stories and wished her a happy Valentine’s Day.

“With me since my 2000 gold Mazda protege smoked and squealed and I had no job,” he wrote over the sweet photos.

Williams, of course, plays Shane Hollander in the hit Canadian Crave/HBO Max romantic drama, while Storrie, 26, plays his rival-turned-lover Ilya Rozanov. The series is based on author Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series about two closeted professional hockey players.

Both actors became global stars when Heated Rivalry premiered to acclaim and much fan fervor online last year.

HBO’s Heated Rivalry is sparking intense conversations with its steamy sex scenes. Based on Rachel Reid‘s Game Changers book series, Heated Rivalry follows two rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), whose animosity on the ice is just a front for a secret — and very passionate — romance. However, the newfound fame has also come with scrutiny on social media, which Hudson and costar Francois Arnaud called out in a joint statement earlier this month.

“Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist / homophobic / biphobic / misogynistic / ageist/ ableist / parasocial/ bigoted comments of any kind,” William and Arnaud, 40, posted via their respective Instagram Stories on March 9. “None of us need your hateful ‘love.’”

“We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side. If you can’t accept that gtfoh,” the statement concluded.

In January, Williams opened up about the intense fan base Heated Rivalry has already established in an interview with Wonderland magazine.

“I didn’t think there would be as many disrespectful people as there are. And vice versa, I didn’t think there would be as many respectful people as there are,” he explained. “I thought everyone would just be screaming, nice, or kind of like, ‘Oh my God.’ But there are people who are like, ‘No, let’s be respectful to him and his private life. Let’s not share these photos. When we approach him on the street, let’s be mindful of appropriate times.’ I’m seeing those comments, and that’s cool.”

Williams continued, “Then there are disrespectful people who are just like, ‘F*** that guy.’ And I’m like, holy s***. Why are people hating on me? There’s also all this fake news about me. And I’m like, ‘How do I already have fake news?’”
