After admitting she was interested in The Golden Bachelorette runner-up Guy Gansert, Kelly Bensimon claimed his costar Pascal Ibgui recently slid into her DMs.
“Pascal, another guy on The Golden Bachelorette, slid into my DMs,” Kelly shared on the Tuesday, April 8, episode of the “Ben & Ashley I Almost Famous” podcast, before admitting to hosts Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti that she didn’t watch the first season of the reality dating series which premiered in September 2024. “It’s actually very entertaining.”
The Real Housewives of New York alum explained how Ibgui introduced himself to her by attempting to relay some common ground. “Pascal is like, ‘I’m French,’ [and] well, my ex-husband [Gilles Bensimon] was French, and he goes, ‘I live in Chicago,’ and I’m from Illinois originally,” Kelly recalled before revealing more details into their exchange.
“So he was like, ‘I’m a hairdresser,’ and I was, like, ‘Oh wow,’” Kelly said.
The real estate broker added that while she’s open to exploring a relationship with Ibgui, she still carries baggage from previous romantic relationships. “I’m not a zeroing-in-on-somebody kind of person. Let’s date before we get married, tread the waters, meet people,” she explained. “I’m a little gun shy, I’m not going to lie. I’ve had two failed relationships.” (Bensimon was married to Gilles, 81, from 1997 to 2007, sharing two adult daughters, Sea Louise and Thaddeus, together, and split from ex-fiancé Scott Litner in June 2024.)
Kelly had previously detailed her feelings for Gansert, 66, during an episode of iHeart Radio’s “I Do Part 2” podcast last month, explaining that she had her eye on him before he announced that he was off the market.

“He [Gansert] seemed very organized with his thoughts and his intentions and I was like, ‘You know what, that’s what I need.’ I’m looking for solid. I’m looking for the rock. I’m not looking for the roll,” Kelly said at the time before adding that Gansert allegedly asked for her phone number and proceeded to text her “novellas,” referring to messages that were “so long.”
“So I text back and I’m like, ‘That’s great, sounds fun, look forward to, can’t wait, whatever,’” Kelly said. “And it was like … ‘I like this and I like that, and I think you’d like this, and I think you’d like that,’ and going on and on and on and on and, ‘Here’s a photo of me without a pocket square.’ I was like, ‘What is going on?’”
Leaving Kelly further confused, Gansert then told her he was dating somebody else, however, he continued to send her “more images” of himself and telling her that he was an actor. (Gansert starred on an episode of General Hospital last month.)
When things didn’t work out with Gansert, Kelly pursued things with yet another Golden Bachelorette contestant, Gary Levingston. “Gary and I got along really really well. I don’t know what the next step is. We text and we became friendly, which was great,” Kelly said during her “Almost Famous Podcast” appearance.
