The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast has had its fair share of overlap when it comes to hookups within the friend group.
When the show premiered on Hulu in 2024, viewers were introduced to Jen Affleck and husband Zac Affleck, Demi Engemann and husband Bret Engemann, Whitney Leavitt and husband Conner Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews and husband Jace Terry, Mayci Neeley and husband Jacob Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura and husband Jordan Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul and then-partner Dakota Mortensen and Layla Taylor. (Miranda McWhorter, meanwhile, joined the show in season 2 after her split from Chase McWhorter.)
Most of the couples on the show have been married for years, but due to a “soft swinging” scandal and some other offscreen drama, there have been a few surprising hookups — and allegations of infidelity.

The couple, who share three kids, have been married since 2019. Despite a brief separation, Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck have remained loyal to each other.

Speaking of Chase McWhorter, he was linked to Taylor Frankie Paul during their 2022 “soft swinging” scandal while still married to Miranda Hope. They sparked romance rumors while filming season 3, but nothing came of it.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen
Taylor and Dakota started dating following her divorce from ex-husband Tate Paul. They faced ups and downs in their relationship after she was arrested for domestic violence in 2023. The pair welcomed son Ever the following year.
Their issues continued when news broke in March 2026 that Taylor and Dakota were involved in another alleged domestic violence dispute.
