The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Teddi Mellencamp is giving fans a glimpse of her dating life.
“Yesterday I got a message from a guy on Hinge, 25 years old. [He said], ‘Hey, hey, what are you up to later?’” Mellencamp, 44, said on the Wednesday, April 1, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s In a Pod” podcast. “[I was like,] ‘You mean later tonight?’ Sir. I am so sorry. … Then I was like, ‘He’s kind of hot.’ Then I looked down at the age and I was like, ‘25!’”
Mellencamp noted that she wasn’t sure whether 25 year olds are “the best at sex,” quipping, “I mean I’ve been good since I started at 16.”
Elsewhere in the podcast, Mellencamp shared that a guy she is dating has his read receipts turned on his device, joking that his Samsung phone is “almost [a] reason to not continue dating.”
“Here’s the thing. So when I first started dating him, it was a long time ago, back before the young guy. And then I kind of went on with the young guy and blah blah blah, and that happened for a couple of months,” Mellencamp said, calling her current beau the “more mature guy.”
She continued, “I didn’t think I was ready and I wasn’t in that place of mind where I was ready for the real deal, and this guy’s kind of the real deal. If you’re listening right now, don’t get yourself all booted up and complimented by me saying this. He’d always do like a check in once a month or whatever it was, and when I was done with the other situation, I was like, ‘All right, yeah, I’m good. Whenever you want to hang out, let’s go.’ And then we’ve had probably four or five good dates since.”
When Mellencamp’s cohost quipped that he thought she was going to say she had several “sexual encounters” with the man, she replied, “If I was having good sexual encounters four to five, six times in the last month, I’d be in [a] much better mood.”

Mellencamp then noted that if the man was listening, it was “time to up the sexy time.” She added that she knows her current love interest is not married, noting that she’s been to his house.
Mellencamp was married to Edwin Arroyave from 2011 until separating in 2024. The pair share daughters Slate and Dove and son Cruz. (Arroyave is also the dad of daughter Isabella from a previous marriage.)
