Tracy Morgan’s History Of Health Struggles

In 2010, the actor underwent a kidney transplant, and in 2014, Morgan was involved in a devastating multi-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, which left him with several broken ribs, severe leg injuries, and a traumatic brain injury. The accident, caused by a Walmart 18-wheeler, resulted in a six-car pileup that tragically killed his close friend and fellow comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair.

“If God can get you to it, he’ll get you through it,” he told USA Today. “And I’m here. My wife kept saying, ‘We’ll get through it, we’ll get back to the funny.’ And we did that tonight… It’s time for us to start laughing again. And that’s what we did.”

His latest hospitalization after the Knicks game may have alarmed fans, but given his history of resilience, it’s clear that Tracy Morgan is not one to stay down for long.
